I wanted to share the bestbestbest thing that got us through the cast phase: press and seal. It's kind of like plastic/saran wrap but it's so much better than plain plastic wrap. I hope you have it available in Canada? Anyhow, we used it for meal time and bath time and it kept the cast clean and dry and it was just awesome. Good luck with the cast!
